CJB Photography Are Located in Stourbridge, West Midlands

We are situated in Stourbridge, West Midlands, near the M5, M6, M40 and M42 motorways for easy access to local and distant locations.

We offer our on site print service at outdoor events, using our mobile digital darkroom which has its own generator, thus allowing it to be used in the middle of a field anywhere in the UK.

On Site Print Service

Photographic Prints At Your Event
Our on site prints services enables us to provide prints at your event. Our photographers setup a mini printing studio before the event and then to display the photographic prints on the day. Some venues have natural backdrops such as: an attractive wall or entrance, an eye-catching staircase or an ornamental hearth, for those which do not, CJB Photography can supply photographic backgrounds.

High Quality Photographic Prints

We only produce the highest quality of photographic prints at events and our high speed printers can produce up to 300 prints per hour. These prints are also displayed on our website where you can order photographic gifts such as:

Green Screen Photography

CJB also provide West Midlands green screen photography services. This type of photography enables us to photograph subjects in front of a green screen backdrop and then transfer them onto any number of exciting and exotic backgrounds before printing the results as high quality prints on site at your event. Green screen photography is ideal for themed events such as 007 James Bond and western themed parties & occasions.

Horse Show Events

CJB Photography can cover horse show events, dressage events or horse jumping show events. Our high speed cameras enable us to produce professional motion shots.

James Bond Themed Events

Our expertise allows us to get the best photographic results at your James Bond themed event. Our choice of James Bond explosion backgrounds create an added sense of realism.

Wild West Themed Events

We cover all types of western themed parties, where the guests have taken time to arrive with authentic looking outfits. Some people come as cowboys, whilst others as red Indians.

Masonic Events Photography

CJB Photography's Chris Bridgewater is an established Mason and has undertaken Masonic photography for Worcestershire and Warwickshire Provincial Grand Lodges, plus many Ladies Nights throughout the West Midlands and beyond.

This has allowed him to become an expert when it comes to Masonic events photography and is familiar with a large number of the Lodge Rooms in the Midlands area.

Masonic Lodge Groups

CJB Photography can take care of all your Masonic Lodge Groups Photography needs. we can photograph the Presiding Officer, anniversary or special meeting or just individual portraits. Once the photographs have been taken and printed, they then can either be sold by us or to the lodge so they can be sold on.

Masonic Ladies Nights

When numbers attending the event have made our presence viable, we have covered Ladies Nights from Nuneaton to Bracknell. We normally take photographs of the Masonic couples as they arrive and these are printed during the first part of the meal so they are available for viewing and purchase during the evening at the event.

Unlike most other photographers, we do not leave the site during the Masonic event. We can therefore take other pictures at the Masonic Ladies Night later on if required.

Award Presentations Photography

People do not automatically position themselves for a good photograph without some sort of direction. With its previous press experience, CJB Photography knows how to position the subjects to the best advantage to make an eye catching photograph at Award Presentations.

Those few extra seconds before the photograph is taken makes the difference between a mediocre and a special Awards Ceremony photograph. CJB Photography has covered a wide range of awards presentations:

Corporate Event Photography

As you can see from Corporate and PR pages on our web site, we offer the traditional covering of corporate events. However, with our print-on-site service, we can offer much more, as prints can be supplied before the end of the event.

Whether the events are themed, or self promotion days to potential clients, the guests can all go away with a special photograph to remind them of the event and the company who organised it.

Corporate Dinner Dances

At dinner dances, CJB Photography usually photograph guests on arrival, the photographs are produced while they eat, and are ready for collection later in the evening.

There is also the opportunity for table shots to be taken if required. Some companies may like a large group photograph to be taken at their event.

Corporate Activity Days

Instead of the Annual Dinner Dance, more and more companies nowadays are organising Activity Days as a "Thank you" to their staff and customers.

What better memento than a quality photograph recording each participant undertaking one or more of the activity day events?

School Proms Photography

Although Mums and Dads may complain about the cost of the School Prom, with the cost of the hire of a tuxedo, ball gown, hair, make up and limo, they are very proud of their offspring, and love the opportunity to have a professional portrait photograph of their son or daughter.

Charity Events Photography

CJB Photography cover two main types of activity for charities, balls and sponsored events. A donation to the charity is based upon the number of photographs sold.

Charity Balls Photography

CJB Photography set up a mini studio for guests to be photographed on arrival to the Charity Ball. Prints are produced during the meal ready for sale. Additional photographs can be taken throughout the course of the evening, and prints produced within minutes. Extra prints in various sizes can be supplied during the course of the charity event.

Sponsored Charity Activities

Charity Activities covered to date include abseiling and dragon boat races as far afield as Eastnor Castle near Ledbury and Nottingham.

At Abseil Events, we can often get a better picture than your friends, as we always try to shoot from above, at the moment you go over the wall! As official photographers, we are usually allowed to take photographs from the 'launch point' as long as we follow the safety rules and are roped-up to ensure we cannot fall.

Graduations Photography

Graduations can fall into two categories, balls and ceremonies. To date CJB Photography have covered graduation balls with 500 guests attending, and ceremonies of up to 65 graduates.

As a family business, we specialise in the smaller college graduations, where we can offer a personal service. The large national companies are not always interested in these smaller events.

Students are photographed, with cap and gown if appropriate, together with a scroll to represent their certificate, prior to the ceremony.

CJB Photography provides team awards and event ceremony photography for any sporting or team events, including:

Sports & Dance Events

CJB Photography have travelled the UK extensively, providing sports award event photography at football tournament award ceremonies, we usually produce team photographs as well as individual player photos, and mount the two photographs in one of our dual mounts. These mounts take an 8" x 6" team photo as well as a 6" x 4" individual player photo.

Golf Days Photography

CJB Photography have covered golf tournaments from Wentworth to The Belfry. Most golf day photography clients require team pictures taken on the golf course as well as the Golf Day Awards Presentations later in the day.

Corporate & PR Photography

At Corporate and Public Relations events the photographer is seen as a representative of your company. His manner and dress are therefore of paramount importance.

CJB Photography do not belong to the 'jumper and jeans' brigade, and therefore ensure that we are always dressed appropriately for the occasion, be this smart casual, lounge suit or dinner jacket.

Public Relations Photography

Chris Bridgewater of CJB Photography was the first press photographer for the Stourbridge and Halesowen News at its inception back in 1977. Over the years he has taken hundreds of photographs for world wide publication.

Corporate Photography

Our extensive experience in corporate photography enables us to cover everything from small local talks in a village hall or local hotel, up to 1500 delegates at the International Convention Centre, Birmingham.

Theatre Shows Photography

Lighting during theatre shows changes regularly, and light levels can be quite poor. Any use of flash photography would destroy the lighting effects being created for the show.

However, where most cameras would be unable to take any acceptable photographs at all, our range of specialist equipment enables us to obtain professional theatre show photography under these difficult lighting conditions.

Industrial Photography

Chris Bridgewater of CJB Photography is a qualified Mechanical and Industrial Engineer. His experience working in industry ensures that he knows his way around factories. When producing industrial photography he is comfortable talking to the Chief Executive one minute and getting the necessary co-operation from the workforce on the shop floor the next.

Commercial Photography

Commercial work covers anything from items photographed in a studio environment through to office furniture photographed in situ: from fine art to commercial vehicles: from photographs taken at a vets to a flaming grill plan taken for a hotel brochure. Creative lighting and viewpoint are essential and the key to a good commercial photograph.

Architectural Photography

CJB Photography provides many types of architectural photography. We have years of architectural photography experience, creating images of all types of buildings including new homes, hotel bedroom suites, carpet manufacturers and areas around council run schools using aerial photography.

Exterior Photography

Before an exterior photography shoot CJB Photography always liaise with clients to ensure that we understand what images they are looking for and we examine any available architectural plans, maps etc, to ensure that the light will be at the best angle for the shot required.

Interior Photography

We have many years experience of producing professional interior photographs, which includes work carried out for clients such as Cottage in the Wood in Malvern, Farrell UK based in Ireland and George Interiors in Bridgnorth.

Weddings Photography

CJB Photography are traditional wedding photographers, taking a mixture of formal, informal and spontaneous bridal photographs.

As we undertake only one wedding a day, we are happy to take as many photographs as time and conditions allow, starting with a home visit if requested. After photographs at the wedding ceremony and reception, we aim to leave as you sit down for your wedding breakfast.

Groups Photography

Over the years CJB Photography has built up considerable expertise in photographing large groups of people. The essential elements of good group photography are good composition, good lighting and the ability to get your subjects to do as you ask with minimum fuss.
