Cleaning supplies company history
Before forming this cleaning supplies company, Jayne and Julian Gaze started the business in 1987 as a carpet cleaning company and initially focussed on cleaning domestic carpets. They diversified to cleaning carpets in commercial organisations like nursing homes, restaurants and hotels thus enabling them to establish domestic cleaning contracts and to employ cleaners who visited customers in small red vans.
The business went from strength to strength winning commercial contracts with larger companies like Halifax, British Sugar and Victoria Carpets. This side of the business was eventually sold to concentrate on the larger daily office cleaning contracts.
Rapid expansion followed and a small cleaning supplies division was established to support the cleaning contracts. However both Jayne and Julian found the advice and supply of janitorial supplies to be very poor. Therefore, whilst the contract cleaning business continued to expand, it was eventually sold to Bowdraper.
The resource and knowledge gained running the cleaning company was used to start and develop this new cleaning supplies company called Janitorial Direct. This company was developed with the philosophy of "The right product at the right price at the right time".

The Multi-Dri range of hand dryers consists of four quality face and hand dryers designed to satisfy most customer's requirements. The casing is made from heavy duty, fire retardant ABS and is fitted with a chrome plated, cast aluminium, 360 degree rotating nozzle. The cassette design, with all working parts housed in the front cover, simplifies installation and servicing. ALL Multi-Dri hand dryers are double insulated and therefore do not require an earth.
The Super range of hand dryers have been designed for people who want speedy, silent, automatic drying of hands. Its slim line case is available in either white, brushed finish stainless steel or even mirror finish stainless steel (available to order). The Super is the ideal finishing touch to any contemporary development.
