1. What is a utility review?
A utility review is a FREE service we provide. By confirming a few details about your current utility costs we can determine the maximum saving you could make in comparison to your current bills. Our commitment to obtaining cheap gas prices, cheap phone calls and cheap electricity prices has saved companies and consumers thousands of pounds.
2. How much could I save?
This is all dependent on your current services, usage and costs. As our service is free, with no obligation, we highly recommend completing our initial quotation form. For a list of our current rates visit Telecom Plus. Consumers that have never changed supplier can be paying up to 20% more than necessary.
3. What is involved in a review?
Quaestor take the information provided to us initially and carry out an investigation to determine how your current utility charges are being calculated. We then establish the best possible quotation available from the leading utility suppliers. You are then free to decide the best way to proceed.
4. When was Quaestor Cost established?
Quaestor was established in 1995 and have been providing quotations for cheap gas prices, cheap phone calls and cheap electricity prices to consumers and companies ever since.
5. What makes the British utility market different?
In the mid to late 90's the English, Scottish and Welsh utility markets were deregulated, creating an open market. This resulted in increased competition which is normally good for consumers. For several years commercial electricity prices were very competitive. Unfortunately utility suppliers began to consolidate, resulting in merged customer bases and inconsistent pricing. This reduced the competition and meant that the leading supplier would frequently change. Making comparisons between them also became more difficult. Quaestor began evaluating these suppliers and started offering a free utility supply quotation service. Simply select the relevant form to begin.
6. What causes high utility prices?
A major factor is the lack of self regulation. Suppliers rarely check that their customers are using the best available tariff. Secondly, incorrect charges caused by outdated fixed costs for utilities are not being identified by suppliers. Our service eliminates the possibility of erroneous charges and reintroduces competition to the market.
7. How long does it take to change electricity supplier?
The majority of domestic electricity consumers are not bound by a long term contract. If you decide to change supplier, your current supplies should only require 28 days notice.
8. Which communication services do you check?
During the free review, we check for the best possible price on landline calls, ISDN lines, mobile call rates, free phone lines, system maintenance and conferencing services.
9. How do I get started?
The process has been made as straight forward as possible. If you are ready to start a review simply complete the relevant quotation form and send it to us. We will then respond as soon as we acquire quotes from our network of suppliers. Alternatively, for free advice with no obligation contact us online or give us a call on: 0800 9700 432.
